Homeschool Mom Moment

Okay! I am sorry but I have to share this!! It's such a homeschool mom thing to do but I'm okay with that!!!

This little bluebird has become a little bit like family lately!! We have enjoyed watching him and his "wife" (bluebirds mate for life!! Isn't that cool!) make a nest in our bluebird house and raise 2 families already this spring! We have been able to see them build the nest, watch the eggs and see the babies take off in flight!! Since we don't have any pets, we kinda like to think of them as ours!!

Since summer has begun, we have set up a little above group pool for the boys to enjoy! Every evening after dinner they go out for a while and swim. They don't know it but we like them to swim then and get good and worn out for bed time!!!! This little bluebird comes and perches himself on this chair by the pool and watches the boys splash around the whole time!! It has been so fun! We aren't sure if he likes the splashing of the water b/c bluebirds like water or if he is protecting his domain since his house is about 50 yds away from the pool. Either way, we have had fun watching him and we would like to believe he likes watching us!!!
